What is GSM in towel quality?

GSM stands for grams per square meter and is a measurement used to determine the thickness, weight, and absorbency of towels (and other fabrics). It indicates the density of the fabric, with higher GSM numbers typically meaning thicker, softer, and more absorbent towels.

GSM Ranges for Towels:

300-400 GSM: Lightweight towels that dry quickly, often used in gyms or for beach use.
400-600 GSM: Medium-weight towels, good for everyday use with a balance of softness and absorbency.
600-900 GSM: Luxury, heavy-weight towels that are very soft, thick, and highly absorbent, typically found in high-end hotels or spas.

Higher GSM towels (600+) are generally considered to be of higher quality, offering more comfort and absorbency. However, they may take longer to dry compared to lower GSM towels.
