Challenge

Acacia’s owners wanted us to help create a floating oasis of calm to take a break from the world. Additionally, in true Sunseeker fashion, ACACIA’s interior structure was built for an almost procession-like experience. So maintaining its sense of vastness while giving each area its own sense of space was crucial.

Approach

To maintain the alliance between style and performance, we went with a contemporary modern luxurious design approach. We wanted to facilitate the transition from one area to the other by implementing common connecting textures between them.

Play of light

The main deck makes full use of natural light thanks to its all-around expansive windows. This was key in making the interior areas feel open, modern, and, inviting. With Semi-gloss satin walnut wood paneling throughout as the base texture, we balanced the atmosphere with various grey hues. We accentuated the oversized velvet sofas with comfortable throws and pillows creating the ideal conversation space.

While we started with a palette of relaxing earth tones in the main salon and primary cabin and continued into the guest staterooms, we separated each of the guest spaces with a small pop of color found in the throw pillows, blankets, and accessories, to add a spot of playfulness.

The 131-foot Sunseeker features five luxurious bathrooms, one for each of the yacht’s en-suite staterooms. The primary bathroom in the master suite is particularly remarkable, featuring a bi-level design with dual sinks and a walk-in shower. This spacious configuration allows for an elevated sense of comfort and privacy. In addition to the master bathroom, the four guest cabins—two VIP suites and two convertible twin cabins—each have their own en-suite bathrooms, providing a consistent level of luxury and convenience throughout the yacht.

As a thoughtful touch, almost all the seating on board Acacia is arranged to make the most of panoramic views, allowing for the outdoor spaces to be enjoyed from morning until night.

We supplied new exterior furniture for a better flow and reupholstered existing seating areas throughout all three decks. We topped every seating area with custom throw pillows that were all weighted and made from sun-resistant outdoor fabrics. We also supplied storage baskets for deck towels and sunscreens on every level.
